Dr. Monica McCrary, M.D.
Dr. Monica, as her patients so lovingly call her, attended The University of Texas at Austin in 1986 and received her M.D. from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1994. She completed a pediatric internship at The University of Utah, a viral dermatology research fellowship at UTMB, and her dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where she served as Chief Resident. She remains active in the American Academy of Dermatology, the Texas Dermatology Society, and local organizations including the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Hill Country Women in Business.

Dr. Shannan McCann, M.D.
Dr. McCann is quadruple board certified in Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She earned her M.D. from East Tennessee State University, completed multiple residencies and fellowships through the Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and Baylor College of Medicine, and became the first Pediatric Dermatologist in the U.S. Air Force, serving as the sole pediatric dermatologist for the Department of Defense before retiring in 2023. She has held academic appointments, trained residents in one of the nation’s largest dermatology programs, published extensively, and received multiple honors, including a Distinguished Dermatology Faculty Award and the American Academy of Dermatology’s Members Making a Difference Award. Dr. McCann is active in major professional societies and remains committed to community service, humanitarian missions, and family life.
