Biography
In 1986, Monica received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Education, with her major field of study being Biology. She then received her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1994.
Soon after getting her M.D. that same year, Monica left Texas to pursue a Pediatric Internship at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City for her Post-Doctoral Training. Continuing her training, from 1995 to 1996 Monica moved back to Galveston to complete a Viral Dermatology research fellowship.
Monica began her Dermatology Residency at the Medical College of Georgia Augusta in 1996, where she later became Chief Resident from 1998 to 1999.
As an accomplished dermatologist, Monica McCrary continues to involve herself in the dermatology community by being active in the American Academy of Dermatology and the Texas Dermatology Society. In addition, Monica also supports her local community by being involved with the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and Hill Country Women in Business (HCWIB).
